How about not stealing my crops? (North)
« on: November 12, 2017, 06:06:01 pm »
You know, I really don't mind if someone needs food or seeds and takes some of my crops but how about making seeds out of half of what you take and PLANTING IT THE **** BACK?  I play in the north, where that should be a no no (I'll ask for clarification) and right now I am not able to play enough to harvest enough food to keep me and some **** twerp(s) fed who take it all and don't put **** back.  Celtic moved some of our crops inside a walled base, but is this necessary?  I mean really?

Did you let madman know, if it was recent he can find the culprit.

I got the message from Celtic yesterday and was looking into it last night. Did it happen again? If so, where exactly?

Since we're talking about griefing, I'll also add that within an hour of starting out again on the server, *[a player] has spent the entire night essentially griefing me. I lived in the south, I had a landclaimed hole in the ground. And before I even hit level 8, the dude had built ten million fires right outside my hole in the ground, so that there was a massive eternal horde eating away at my hatch. He knew that he wouldn't be able to break through my land claim so this is what he resorted to. Pretty weak if you ask me, dude was level 100+ and I barely had anything. This is not how I remember pvp being on this server. Not going to waste my time. Joke's on him, I despawned all my stuff.

As far as using zombies to try to break into a base, this is not by itself, against the rules:

"If the battle or their attempts to break into your base attract zombies...this is not griefing. If they are deliberately using zombies to penetrate your defenses this is not griefing. It is a normal game mechanic and a legitimate way to gain entry." - http://kamcraft.createaforum.com/general-discussion/pvp-on-this-server-and-'griefing'/

But I do think the campfire thing is excessive so I will let him know not to do that anymore and I will adjust our PvP rules accordingly. That said, in the future, come to me privately if you have a problem with another player. Do not put someone on blast here as that is against the rules as well.

The new updated rule is:

"If the battle or their attempts to break into your base attract zombies...this is not griefing. If they are deliberately using zombies to penetrate your defenses this is not griefing. It is a normal game mechanic and a legitimate way to gain entry.
EDIT:  While using zombies to break into someones base is permitted, you can only do so using your player. You are NOT permitted to use campfires or forges or anything that can attract zombies unattended."

Right now Madman I'm on and off so irregularly that I don't have an approximate time or date it happens.  I'll get you the exact coordinates when it happens.
If I put a land claim block in the middle of the fields will it stop someone not on my friends list from harvesting.  I hate to do that, cause like I said I don't mind someone harvesting what they need if they plant it back and in the past everyone has always been great about doing that.

If you have a landclaim down, I believe others can still harvest. However, They will not be able to replant in a protected zone because it won't allow other players to place anything. For now, I suggest keeping your farm behind locked walls if you can. It's your call though. I'll do what I can, when I can to enforce things when players misbehave.

If we all only get one landclaim now, how could he do that anyway?
