Just wanted to know if there is an official rule on taking claim blocks. Now with the air drops they are so common.

lets take Pitchburns group and RIP were in the same small city Pitch burn is expanding quit nicely but we also want to expand.

 If the claim block is not protecting the main base structure It should be ok to remove his so we can take that territory. To me it adds more conflict and fun saying hey we just took over your territory.
 I personally have know problem with it
 Curious of what others think.
Im sure the taking main base ones falls in the don't be a d I c k rule. But what about the others.

Good topic. I had claim blocks in the double digits so when I started moving into the Police station I was putting them like every 7 blocks...... claim block protecting my claim block yo.

It is of my opinion it goes this way with regards to taking a stance against someones property:

1. If it is in/near/around a POI regardless of Stop Sign status it is open for 'attack'.
2. If it is away from a POI and has Stop signs clearly posted it should not be touched.

So with that if you are in a city ANYTHING (eve a base) created by a player is open reign when it comes to raiding/looting/destroying..... Obviously if it appears to be their base you dont want to go to far overboard. If it is a hub or a layover.... meh.

There is a war section feel free to declare against others....

Here is how I personally feel about this;

We are in an infinitely generating world so it really doesn't make sense to compete for the same space unless two or more parties have decided that this "war" for space is agreed upon. I don't think that a player should be able to protect anything but their base with keystones. If you just place a keystone to expand your area to prevent building with out a base above it then I think that keystone becomes lootable.

I like the idea personally.   It makes it a pseudo capture the flag type mission.   Gives a reason to compete.   Not to mention a serious challenge and a much harder mission to accomplish than stealing one item from a persons chest.  Or rearranging there furniture.

I think not destroying their base in the process would be a challenge unless those claim blocks are clearly put out to grab.

Interesting question, and obviously MM's decree in the end rules.  Just academic, but I see it as an interested idea.
